Funi has an official chalet!… introducing Loft Mountain Hostel, Les Arcs
…Ok so we might be biased cause it was started by one of the Funi founders, but Loft was set up for snowboarders, skiiers and mountainbikers who all have one thing in common.. the less we can spend to get on the hill the better.
Loft has a good mix of seasonaires and a short stay crowd who give it a fun, lively atmosphere and you’re never short of buddies to ride with. Plus, staying at loft you get 20% off your next Funi beanie! Come and have a peep at what we’ve got going on here and book your space for this summer or next winter before they fill up!
Apres and evening sessions at this year’s Brits in Laax. Much drinking and fun.
some shots from the “hell track” in morzine
The hell track was a secret little fun park deep in the woods around morzine. featuring a sketchy run through trees over rocks round berms and over jumps… its a fairly sketchy place to ride, built by the attack attack team CLICK HERE for some shots from Joe Jukes at cupcake productions, cheers Joe.
season update from Disco Stu
Things have been fairly quiet recently. after a failed shred bingo in avoriaz due to shitty weather it was soon time to fly back to scotland for vans dawn of shred. with super slushy conditions and a wack of warm downhill wind the snow was melting rapid… was still an amazingly fun comp and i was lucky to come away with 3rd place… now back to morzine, is there still snow?

A bit more about our latest “friend” – CABNINE FILMS
It’s back to basics really… getting back to the roots of snowboarding and why we love it! Jibbing around, getting messy and hanging out with your mates. And our latest partnership with Cabnine is all about that.

Here’s a bit of a blurb about them – head to our FB page, and their’s to find out more…
CABNINE FILMS was started by Arran Busk in 2009, it is a Video and Short Films Production Company working within the Snow, Skate, Music and Lifestyle field. Based in London most of the year, enjoying the hustle and bustle of city living though in the winter, we exchange our concrete surroundings for a snowier climate and can be found hiding behind a lens in some part of the French Alps. This year we are in Morzine filming a series called Ninelives that follows the progress of a chosen group of very talented skiers and snowboarders.”

A skier in the ranks of the Funi team! (he may be 14 but he’s damn good!)
14 yr old Olivier Vairetto has joined the Funi team. He might be young but he’s not short of a trick or 2! Check out his video and pics or spot him cruising the parks of his local hometown Morzine. We think there’s big things coming for this guy!
