Here at Funi, as an up and coming company, we’re all about up and coming talent... We’re aware it’s not easy getting started so check out these annoyingly talented guys and gals and watch as they progress into totally awesome riders that small children will one day look up to.
What can we say? He’s pretty handy on a board I guess. Just watch his vids and you’ll see. 22 year old Will started riding on the Scottish dryslopes, but he’s now living the dream and has moved out to Mayerhofen in Austria. Look out for more films and photos - and a lot of talking s**t. Meanwhile, check out his mad skills here: WILL SMITH VID and here: ONE MORE WILL SMITH VID

Aaaaaah... Disco Stu. We first met this wee lad at the Board Test in Austria a few years ago. He impressed us with his incapability to hold his beer, and outstanding tactical vomiting skills. Good job he’s proper good on a board eh? This 20 year old can mostly be found shredding around the Scottish hills, making some pretty special videos (here's one) and pretending to go to lectures.

At only 15 years old Maisie is one of those annoyingly talented riders who seems to excel at everything. She’ll be heading off to Romania in Feb 2013 to represent Britain at the European Youth Olympics, but can mostly be found shredding around the French Alps in Chamonix or Avoriaz. This committed young lass has been the British Women’s Boardercross Champion for the last 2 years - and she’s also pretty darn good at trampolining and gymnastics. Some people have it all. Expect to see more of this one!

20 year old Felix can be found shredding around Tignes this winter, loving the back country and entering the odd comp along the way (2nd in the Grand Raid” 2010, and 4th in “Freestyle Tignes” 2010). Oh, and if you’re lucky enough to be heading to Espace Killy - look out for a powder junkie in a UCPA jacket...

Another Scottish Shredder and a relative newbie to the sport... picking up her first board at 19. Four years later and she’s killing it on the British Uni scene with podium finishes at the dryslope champs. Not bad! We’d class her as a bit of an uber-cool babe - other interests include photography, design and skate boarding - and we can’t wait to see more.

Our local multi-lingual, multi-talented teen skier - we couldn’t help but notice Josh in our local park in Les Arcs. With his super laid back style, mad skills, and the fact he lives around the corner, expect to see updates and photos of him cluttering up our social media.

This French teen can be found ripping up the parks in Le Deux Alpes and Les 7 Laux this season. The 17 year old from Chambery is a natural freestyle skier, having started at the age of 4 - but it’s the Big Air Comps where he really knows his stuff. Also pretty handy with a camera too.

A French boarder who kills it in the park - jibbing rails and boxes. From Grenoble, this 19 year old will be mostly riding Les 7 Laux this season - but we’ll be seeing him across different European resorts entering as many comps as possible.

15 year old Olivier has had a touch of bad luck recently - after repping for Funi last year, the rad little skier has knackered his knee and won’t be razing around Morzine that much this season. But we felt a bit sorry for him, so he still gets a slot on our site. Get well soon Vairetto!

This kid gets around... SBX Podium at Big White Canada, 5th in Continental Cup Argentina... not bad for 17 year old! And this season it doesn’t look any different. He’ll be shredding around Europe and heading over to Whistler too. Lucky.

We’re stoked to have so much young French talent in Morzine and Avoriaz this year. Renowned for it’s epic parks, the area is a massive draw for rail or box freaks. Expect to see a constant supply of jib-vids coming this way.
A drumming, skiing, film-making 18 year old... there’s not a lot this French lad can’t do. Part of the Avoriaz bunch of skiers there’ll be plenty of videos of his mad skills.

16 year old accident-prone Xavier is one of our lads in Avoriaz, part of the French skier posse found ripping up the parks in Morzine. When he’s not breaking both wrists on one jump... he’s busy trampolining.

Ben “Rail killer” Pellet is found lurking around the Portes du Soleil in any weather. This 17 year old Frenchie has no off-days and puts the D in dedication.

A rad young skier - Leon won the Funi sponsored Youth Conexx comp in Avoriaz last year, and we’re expecting great things from him this year too. The 14 year old Frenchie is also a keen climber and skateboarder.

Freestyle skier Fabien has been busting moves on two planks since he was 3. So with 12 years of experience, and living in one of the best ski areas in the Alps, you’d expect him to be pretty good. And he is... 4th last year in the Championnat de France. Well played.
